Lewat balutan genre aksi dan sejarah, Os Abas Largas (1963) menawarkan tontonan yang cukup menarik perhatian. In the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, a group of bandits is dedicated to stealing the profitable cattle of local residents. But local gaucho police known as "The Wide Brim", due to the recognizable large-brimmed hat, will not allow the gang to go unpunished.
